Project Creatine
12 de junio de 2026
Project Creatine is a semi-biographical opera written for operatic tenor and drag artist Jordan Weatherston Pitts (Creatine Price). On an odyssey through city life, night clubs, and dreamscapes, our eponymous heroine encounters the highest highs and lowest lows of love, art, and living. Cantata, cabaret, and court drama: Project Creatine is a boundary-breaking story about radical self-definition. With nods to classic works of opera and musical theater, Project Creatine offers audiences a deeply emotional narrative in which they will find moments of both grandeur and humor.
The Artist’s Voice: Derrick Adams with Salamishah Tillet

Derrick Adams’s expansive and vibrant works reframe the ordinary into the extraordinary. Adams, in conversation with Pulitzer Prize-winning writer Salamishah Tillet, will revisit his creative practice and his ever-expanding work, including the founding of his influential nonprofit Charm City Cultural Cultivation, which aims to support underserved communities in Baltimore. Hear from Adams to learn more about this and his ICA exhibition, Derrick Adams: View Master. Free admission to the exhibition for all ticket holders. Juneteenth: Born in the Purple
19 de junio de 2026
The Gardner will honor Juneteenth, the oldest nationally recognized commemoration of the ending of slavery in the United States, with a free day of performances, conversations, and activities curated in collaboration with SIDE Presents: Born in the Purple.
Purple sits at the intersection of the Juneteenth flag’s red and blue, of spirituality and mourning, of Alice Walker’s literary legacy, and of the regal, creative, resilience of Black life. It is a color that holds joy and weight at the same time.
To be "born in the purple" once described those born into royalty. Born in the Purple reclaims that inheritance—a reminder that royalty is not granted but remembered: carried in lineage; expressed in how we gather, adorn, and create; and reflected back to us in one another.
As you enter each space in the Museum, consider the question it asks and the ways in which the answer may lead to connection and a better future for us all.

Caribe & Co. Cafe Pop-Up
20 de junio de 2026
Where is the variety?! That's the question owner & founder Savannah Campbell asked herself everyday while grabbing a flavored latte at local cafes. She noticed that most coffee shops carried the same repetitive flavors and she knew there were more exciting flavors for coffee out there. She drew inspiration from the Caribbean flavors she grew up with and began making her own flavored simple syrups at home - and so Caribe & Co. was born!
At Caribe & Co, we craft simple syrups infused with the flavors of the Caribbean! Our syrups are made with high quality ingredients like pure cane sugar, fresh aromatics, dried flowers, and whole spices. All of our syrups are free from artificial colors, flavors, preservatives, and sweeteners.
Our bold, flavored syrups are perfect for coffee, cocktails, seltzer, and tea, but don’t stop there - drizzle them over pancakes, ice cream, desserts, & more!
