The Boston Ujima Project is excited to open applications for our Resource Organizing Fellowship, a yearlong, part-time opportunity (5-10 hrs/week, virtual) to join our resourcing team in shaping the future of community-centered fundraising and economic justice.

This Fellowship is designed for folks who are passionate about resourcing movements, developing strategy, and making operations sing. Working closely with our Deputy Director and resourcing team, the Fellow will help co-lead donor engagement efforts, proposal development, and internal fundraising campaigns that prioritize cultural and community-rooted approaches.

What You’ll Do

The Fellow will:

Lead the planning, agenda preparation, and facilitation of monthly Resourcing member team meetings.
Coordinate, organize, and execute key resourcing campaigns and donor events in close alignment with Ujima’s resourcing team
Design and coordinate 2 major donor community gatherings focused on deepening relationships and collective resourcing.
Co-write and edit detailed grant proposals for both prospective and existing institutional and foundation funders.
Locate, compile, and systematically organize required supplemental documentation, financial attachments, and narrative reporting materials.

Weekly 1:1 check-ins and bi-weekly team meetings will help support your learning, leadership, and growth throughout the fellowship.

What We Offer & Time Commitment

Part-time fellowship compensation provided on a bi-weekly pay schedule, with an hourly rate of $20/hour totaling up to $10,000 across the fellowship term, based on a 5 to 10 hour weekly schedule. Payments are processed through Ujima's PEO, TriNet, subject to standard applicable payroll processings, taxes, and withholdings.
