Buy Black, Buy Local at the Seaport x Black Owned Bos. Market

The Seaport x Black Owned Bos. Market returns for its 7th season on Harbor Way. The open-air market will feature Black-owned businesses from throughout the Greater Boston area along with a different theme each month: May 24 (Rhythm and Blooms), June 28 (The Cookout), July 26 (Fun in the Sun), August 23 (Art & Soul), September 27 (Rooted in Wellness) and October 25 (Fall Fest). The market is open from 12:00pm to 6:00pm at Harbor Way (111 Autumn Lane) and is free to the public. Each month, special themed activities will vary as well, including a family-friendly Tot Spot Playspace, food from rotating vendors, live music by DJ Slick Vick, DJ Mez & KNSZWRTH, photobooth coordinated by Snapped, along with entertainment and giveaways unifying the theme.

Oxtails & Cocktails is a five-course Oxtail Omakase that brings together bold Caribbean flavors, heartfelt storytelling, and thoughtfully crafted cocktails.
At the center of the experience is Trinidadian Chef Osei "Picky" Blackett, also known as Mr. Everything Oxtail and owner of UMI GOODS, who tells his story through oxtail—from the memories and traditions of growing up in Trinidad to the people, places, and culinary experiences that have shaped him throughout his career. Each course reflects his journey, paying homage to one of the Caribbean’s most beloved ingredients while showcasing it with creativity, technique, and a deep respect for its roots.



Alongside the culinary experience is a cocktail program by Haitian mixologist Ritzy Rodriguez, who brings more than 10 years of hospitality experience and uses culture, technique, and storytelling to create cocktails inspired by the rich traditions of the Caribbean diaspora. Together, Oxtail & Cocktails is an invitation to slow down, share a table, and experience the Caribbean through the stories, flavors, and traditions.

Coloring Club is a community-building event that invites people to connect and unwind through mindful coloring and meaningful conversation. Designed as a low-stakes and welcoming third space, Coloring Club fosters connection.
