The Boston Ujima Project is excited to open applications for our Resource Organizing Fellowship, a yearlong, part-time opportunity (15 hrs/week, virtual) to join our resourcing team in shaping the future of community-centered fundraising and economic justice.
This Fellowship is designed for folks who are passionate about resourcing movements, developing strategy, and making operations sing. Working closely with our Deputy Director and resourcing team, the Fellow will help co-lead donor engagement efforts, proposal development, and internal fundraising campaigns that prioritize cultural and community-rooted approaches.

What You’ll Do
The Fellow will:
Co-facilitate monthly Resourcing Member meetings
Support donor campaigns and giving community events
Help write proposals and coordinate reports for funders
Develop evaluation tools for tracking engagement
Work alongside staff and membership to uplift Ujima’s mission
Weekly 1:1 check-ins and bi-weekly team meetings will help support your learning, leadership, and growth throughout the fellowship.
Compensation & Timeline
$10,000 stipend (paid in two installments: Sept 2025 + Feb 2026)
Time commitment: 10–15 hrs/week, August 2025–August 2026
