Ujima Cousins TimeBank Is Moving to Community Timebanks

The Ujima TimeBank is entering a new chapter.

Starting on July 1, we will begin transitioning from our current TimeBank platform to Community Timebanks, a new platform built to better support member exchanges, strengthen community connections, and help our TimeBank grow for years to come.

The transition is expected to be complete by July 16, 2026.

What This Means for Members

As part of the migration, all active TimeBank accounts, exchanges, and records will be transferred to the new platform.

Accounts that are not migrated will be deactivated, but anyone will be able to create a new account on Community Timebanks after the transition. 

Why We're Making the Change

The Ujima Cousins TimeBank has always been about more than exchanging hours. It is a way of recognizing that our communities are already rich with skills, care, knowledge, and generosity. By moving to Community Timebanks, we're investing in infrastructure that better supports these relationships and makes it easier for members to connect, exchange, and build together.

As we continue to strengthen the TimeBank, we're excited to welcome new members, facilitate more exchanges, and deepen our culture of mutual aid and shared abundance.
